New Job Title: Manager Site Ancillary Services
I've enjoyed working for Doosan Babcock and learned a lot in a short period of time. The Graduate Training Programme is a very well structured development programme that suits my individual requirements.
Getting chartered is a very important milestone in my career plan, and it’s quite easy to achieve in a structured scheme that is accredited by IMechE.
During my time with Doosan Babcock, I've gained experience in mechanical design, power plant pressure parts manufacturing, manufacturing planning and project management.
I've been given the chance to enhance my technical and commercial skills by working on a diverse range of projects in different departments.
I have assisted the manufacturing planning of a new product and represented Doosan Babcock to external clients. I was posted in Germany for three months to implement new manufacturing philosophies such as "5S" at a Doosan site.
The company spends time and resources to develop every individual: all engineering graduates complete a Postgraduate Certificate in Power Plant Engineering and the ECITB's approved Supervisory Management Training and Development (SMTD) course.
